Aside from personal preferences, there isn't that much difference in quality of life. Although it does suck to be poor.

Yeah, this is a negative post, but it's a good thing to nail down. If you know what to avoid being, it prevents you from making your life worse, and might enlighten just how to make your life better.

Before I die, I want to read every surviving text from the earliest we have, to, oh, about 500 years ago. After that I'm probably going to have to get selective.
